Dr. Vishakha Munjal

Dr. Vishakha Munjal is an experienced Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon and IVF Specialist practising in Delhi/NCR. She consults at her private clinic named "Mediclinic" located at E-16 Lajpat Nagar III, behind Moolchand Hospital. Dr. Munjal has experience of more than 19 years and has worked/consulted at leading medical institutes in New Delhi such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Saket City Hospital, Adiva Hospital, Nova Speciality Surgery, Paras Spring Meadows Hospital and Neelkanth Hospital IVF Centre.

Dr. Vishakha Munjal did her MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, and then pursued the MD postgraduate course and Senior Residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at AIIMS. Subsequently, she completed a Diploma in Endoscopy from the University of Kiel in Germany, followed by training in endoscopy from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, USA. Dr. Munjal later did a certificate course in assisted reproductive techniques (ART) from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Dr. Munjal's main forte is minimal access surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) along with ART, covering infertility, IVF (in vitro fertilisation), ICSI (intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection) and surrogacy.

Dr. Munjal is also actively involved in community service and was awarded the Spardhashree Award for outstanding social service in the field of Medicine in April 2002. She has presented papers and chaired sessions on laparoscopy and infertility at various national and international platforms. Dr. Munjal is a regular columnist for answering health queries in Vanitha magazine, and is a regular contributor of health-related articles in newspapers and magazines such as Grahshobha, Women's Era and Sarita.

Dr. Vishakha Munjal conducts regular training programmes in minimal access surgery and ART at Neelkanth Hospital, for doctors from all over the world. She also conducts regular workshops in minimal access surgery in the Delhi/NCR region.
